Hewlett-Packard Co (HP) is extending its line of printer and scanner all in one for home and small office users with the rolling out of HP ScanJet 6200 and 6250C and the DeskJet 859Cxi and DeskJet 710C. The scanners are already in the market and the printers are expected to be on sale by mid-November.
“The ScanJet 6200C and ScanJet 6250C scanners are highly versatile machines that increase productivity and ensure the highest image quality for professional scanner users,” said HP regional product manager for scanners Mohamed Altaf Khan. With its upcoming new printers, HP said it will be the only vendor that offers photo-quality printing on regular paper.
Brother’s digital printer and scanner all in one has color scanning capabilities. This is a rugged unit ideal for classrooms, computer labs, and central office applications. The DCP-8045D handles both letter and legal-size originals with its flatbed and auto document feed. The unit features a large 250-sheet paper tray. It can enlarge and reduce images from 25-400% and produce 2-sided output.
The DCP-8045D is also a laser printer with printing speeds up to 21 pages per minute. The 2400 x 600 dpi resolution and 32MB of standard memory can handle any school’s needs.
